Starting in the HVAC Industry in 2000 I had some very good “Old Time” Mentors in the trade. Being 19 years old at the time I would do everything and anything I was asked to do which gave me a huge advantage in learning the industry.

As time went on I developed a passion for the industry and expanded my knowledge with Factory Training Classes and Research. We didn’t have the internet or YouTube then so research was found in a book, a classroom, and a bit of trial and error. As the world evolved into technology so did Air Conditioning and Heating Equipment. This meant even more training as manufactures developed better ways to created systems.

Working on Commercial Heating & Cooling systems gave me the opportunity to work on everything from a drinking fountain, Kitchen Refrigeration, 1/2 ton ductless unit to 150 ton chillers maintaining building temperature. It also made me learn a lot in those years.

Around 2014 I was asked to come into the office and help Operate the Service Department. By 2016 I was well versed in every position in the Service Department and found a true passion of Teaching the Trade to Others.

Technicians that never learn the basics of Refrigeration, Electrical, and Heating will never be great representatives of our industry. Developing a training program that was easy to follow and focused on Basic Electrical, Refrigeration, & Heating I was able to recruit people with great attitudes and teach them an amazing set of skills.

2018 becoming an Operations Manager allowed me to oversee the entire Service Department and work on personal development to increase growth in myself and others.

In 2020 my wife and I decided to move to Central Oregon and have our children grow up in an environment different from what we did. I was hired on as a Technician and quickly moved into a Service Manager position for a great local company however I have always wanted to create and have a place for people to thrive in life and love everyday.

Creating Second Wind Heating & Cooling is my second wind in giving back to the Industry, the Community, and People.
